Table of contents
This policy explains what information Memo collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have over your data when using our websites, apps, and AI features.
- Controller: XonLabs Limited is the operator responsible for Memo.
- Data types: We collect account details, service usage data, uploaded content, and support communications.
- AI processing: Your content may be processed by third-party model providers to generate Memo outputs.
- Your choices: You can request access, deletion, or correction of certain personal information by contacting us.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your email address, profile details, billing details, support messages, and the sources or content you upload, paste, or connect to Memo.
We also collect technical and usage information needed to run the service, such as device and browser details, authentication events, subscription status, feature usage, request metadata, error logs, and general analytics about how Memo is used.
- Account and authentication data, including email address and login metadata.
- Content and files you submit, including uploaded documents, links, prompts, generated outputs, and related metadata.
- Transaction and billing data handled through our payment providers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide Memo, authenticate users, process payments, deliver AI generations, maintain account history, respond to support requests, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability and usability of the platform.
We may also use information to understand product performance, measure feature adoption, debug issues, and communicate with you about service updates, billing matters, security notices, and support-related messages.
4. AI processing and model providers
Memo’s core features rely on third-party AI providers. When you ask Memo to generate or analyse content, your prompts, selected sources, and related metadata may be transmitted to those providers so the requested feature can function.
Because AI processing is a core part of the service, you should avoid submitting content you are not authorised to share or content that requires special regulatory handling unless you have confirmed Memo is appropriate for that use case.
5. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Memo, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the service.
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also use strong credentials and protect access to your devices and accounts.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also be able to request a copy of certain data in a portable format.
You can exercise privacy requests by contacting support@memo.cards. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, backup integrity, or legal compliance.
- You can close your account and stop future renewals from your billing settings.
- You can contact us to request deletion or access to account-linked information.
- Service, billing, or security messages may still be sent even if you opt out of promotional communications.
7. International transfers
Memo and our providers may process information in multiple countries. By using Memo, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.
Where required, we use contractual or operational measures intended to support lawful transfers and appropriate protection of personal information.
8. Children, updates, and contact
Memo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorisation. If you believe a child has provided information to us unlawfully, contact us and we will investigate.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
